robots and the cult clowns
this great video reminded me of the dutch movie from the eighties called "pompy the robodoll" (dutch wiki link)
Its a robot made to be able to have axpressions..and the faces it has had during the years

the last pic is the strangely related "robin" used by dutch clown and acrobat duo "Bassie en Adriaan" who are slowly becoming cult figures, just like "peppie en kokkie" as you can see below and here
Toet toet boing boing Kokkie en Peppie
Peppie en Kokkie, hopla eruit
Allebei opstaan, he haast je reppie
Kokkie en Peppie, opstaan luie Peppiee
Toet toet boing boing Kokkie en Peppie
Samen ontbijten, Kokkie maakt brood

Overpainting train interior
Found this overpainting situation in a dutch train. The ceiling is made out of sort of wood with round holes. Somehow they don't manage to clean the grafitti so instead they put a piece of plastic with a PRINT of holes on top of it. (Imagine if gravestones would be vandalized with grafitti and then instead of cleaning them, putting plastic prints of marble on it)

the cutting hedge of street art
I guess you could wait for it, but i think hedge clipping is the next big thing. A new form of street art. And the clipping doesn't have to stop at hedges..

This beautifully shaped hedge was first cut into the form of a house during the 2nd World War by Martinus Borge, a Norwegian refugee. He was unable to return to Nazi occupied Norway and lodged at Glasshouse Villa. Throughout the war he worked as a woodman for Major Ackers of Huntley Manor.
I am hoping for some illigal midnight hedge cutting...and remember..you saw it first on squeaky from
